I'm looking to build my first pc so I can play the new Day Z stand alone game. I already bought a decent monitor. http://
I would like to try and stay below $1000 for the rest of my set up. I will mainly be using it for Day Z.
I am a complete PC noob. Please help.

If all goes well I might switch from a console gamer to PC gamer.

I might be leaning towards this build. I really like the reviews on the intel core i5-4670k and the evga geforce gtx 770. They seem like quality building blocks. Then the rest of the build is the best deals I could find on parts with a fair amount of good reviews. Because I am a huge pc noob, I wonder how a machine like this would compare to my xbox one. There is a good chance I might sell my xbox one and play pc/360 for the next few years.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($199.99 @ micro center)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: Asus Z87-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($129.99 @Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($68.00 @ Newegg)
Storage: WD Blue 1TB 7,200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal HD ($59.99 @ microcenter)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 2GB Video Card ($344.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case ($59.99 @ microcenter)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($54.99 @ microcenter)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.99 @ microcenter)

This puts me a few dollars over budget, but I feel good about each piece. (as good as a novice can feel)
