Ok I'm getting a new cpu and watercooler tommorow and i'm hoping someone can tell me if my psu is going to need upgrading after they are added as i think it would be close to maxed already. My psu is 500w and i'll list the components that will be in my pc tommorow and the watts they are claimed to use.

- Gtx 460 gfx card [400w]
- Amd Fx6300 Cpu [95w]
- Asrock n68 vs3 Fx Motherboard [125w]
- Kingston hyperx 2x 2gb ram [unknown]
- Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB [unknown]
- 3x 120mm fans [unknown]
- soundcard [unknown]
- cpu liquid cooler [unknown]
- Asus CD drive [unknown]

I tried to give all the power info I know on them if someone could tell me if it needs upgrading and if so what size should I get would be great. Thanks :D

Well 1st off all there Is no need for upgrading if your psu is 80+ certified bbut if you're planning to OC in the future then and upgrade is recommended.

My correct rig that you can see under my post worked great with a 550W psu (my cup 125W, gpu 500W, mobo 220W~ with 3 hdds and any SSD. .).

You'll do just fine!
