Hey so this problem started yesterday when my display randomly shut off while I was using my pc. I couldn't get it to come back on so I rebooted, but it would only get to the splashscreen and then the screen would go off again. I can still hear the windows start sounds and I can blindly sign in but the display won't come back.
I managed to fix the problem twice by swapping out the monitor then the second time by simply switching the dvi cable...also I can start in safemode no problem...
I just went through and cleaned everything got rid of any dust and reassembled but still no luck. My graphics card IS still running as far as I can tell, or the fan is at least, but I have a bad feeling you guys are gunna tell me the card is toast...if anyone has any insight to the contrary I'd much appreciate it.
The card is a evga gtx 560ti and the drivers are up to date.
