So I just recently fixed a problem I just had from here http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1966201/display-graphics-card-plugged.html.

I pretty much used my iGPU to set up remote connection, plugged my gtx570 back in, then used my laptop to remotely access my PC and installed drivers onto it.

Now the problem is, when i boot my PC, my monitor fishes around for a signal for a few seconds, then finds the hdmi signal the moment windows starts. This means I do not see my motherboard/bios loading up.

So I am guessing that means my card will not work without the drivers loaded. Is this a serious problem, or can I just ignore it? Because I know if this continues, I can not access safe mode with the card installed.

Solution
try resetting your bios to default and also checking for updated versions on the manufacturer's website. there is no good reason why your bios shouldn't be able to drive via your PCI connection from boot.

it will work, connect your monitor to the iGPU to see bios loading screen. within your BIOS settings there will be an option for default display. if you select PCI then it will display through your connected card from boot.

My Bios is defaulted to boot PCIE/PCI but still doesn't show.
The card is PCIE
