Hello, I recently upgraded my CPU From a phenom x4 955 BE to a 8230, im not looking to overclock, but i seem to be getting sketchy temp read outs, my system idles at about 32c - 35c, and loads at about 45c but i have seen it go up to about 52c which is the worry. Im not sure if im being paranoid or if my cation is necessary.
My case is a fractal design define r4 i have 2 140mm intakes at the front a 120 intake at the bottom all hooked up to the external volt switch (5v/7v/12v). My CPU cooler is a Antec Kuler h20 620, with 2 static pressure arctic cooling f12 pwm fans in push pull. and ive used the dot method to apply arctic silver 5.
I Have a cooling profile set in asus ai suite to control cpu fans. its currently set to hit 100% if fans reach 50c, im essentially trying to build a quiet rig, but temps keep throwing me off. sorry for text wall but if someone could offer some advice it would be great.
Temp program used: AIDA64 System:
MB: M5a99x EVO
Ram: 16gb Crucial Elite
CPU: AMD FX 8230
Power Supply: Corsair CX750M
GFX: HIS 6950 2GB
2 Sata 3 Drives.
