I built a computer 3 months ago witha 800 dollar budget and things are quite expensive around here. Anyways I went with a AMD FX 6300 and a GTX 760, along with a Gigabyte 970a ds3 mobo, which I thought was going to be good, but I dont like it. I will upgrade when summer comes or even sooner. But I wanna know, shall I stick to my FX 6300 and change board? I want Dual SLI 760. I want a board with dual 16x PCIe with SLI support.
I consider getting a Intel rig instead and fully switch out to a 4670k and intel board, but that wouldn't be until summer comes. I dont have enough money right now.
So recap:
Stick to AM3+ and upgrade board and get another 760 or Upgrade to Intel (preferably) and get a new 760?

with your current setup, I think the 760 is already a good match for your CPU. If i were you I'd upgrade the CPU, and forget about the 760SLI, because you'd end up with a CPU bottleneck and not get very much performance increases. Depending on what you're trying to achieve with this.
Maybe it might be a better idea to upgrade to a SSD if you don't already have one? It seems like a waste to throw away new components.

yeah the 7670k is a pretty good CPU, even right out of the box, more than good enough for gaming.
The SSD won't cost as much as a mobo and CPU upgrade, and if you don't already have one it'll most likely give the biggest performance boost.
What do you want to do with the computer though? Play games, video editing, work? It'll help a lot if I knew

I am not a beginner at this though some opinions are helpful.
I do minor editing, hence I chose FX 6300, many cores, I play Games mostly, kind of alot and I do normal web browsing stuff.
if I wanted to upgrade my system with new mobo, gpu, cpu SSD and then also PSU it would cost more than this PC did. Though I might get CPU and mobo first, and then PSU and gpu. I would like an SSD but id rather get The first I mentioned
