Hello guyz ,
a couple of days ago my laptop suddendly disconnected from my WiFi router while i was playing an MMO game . I tried to reconnect but it didn't . It just took more time than usual to connect and get information from the router and it finally failed to connect to the Wireless Network too .
The strange thing is that it is scanning and listing the WiFI's of the neighbourhood but it doesn't connect to any of them . Neither on encrypted WPA or WEP nor on Open Wireless Networks :??:
I don't have any problem with the Ethernet Cable on my laptop . My desktop doesn't have any problem too .. either with WiFi or with Ethernet Cable . I searched in some threads for that issue but everyone tells to reinstall the driver (doesn't work for me  )
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit version with all the drivers up to date ..
My router is a Thomson TG782 which has the latest firmware !!

I'll appreciate any help !! Thanks !! :)

PS : - sometimes when i try to search my home wifi, the wifi is not even listed so I have to keep refreshing the list till it pops up. It tends to disappear and reappear as well as other networks nearby.
- All other devices connected to the home wifi work without any problems. Phones , ipods , Workstation etc.

if your laptop wifi card on the bottom of the laptop and you can get to it. take the battery and power off the laptop. take the card out and reseat it. if it still acting up if the laptop under warranty have the vendor send you a new card. if not look for a replacement card. the card may have over heat and failed.
