XFX6850 did these sell with a grey fan as well as red . I purchased one from ebay but the fan is grey . Someone told me that the grey/black fan was a 6950

I believe so got it more than a year after the one I bought. It is shorter basically shares the PCB with a HD6870 I got similar time for another computer and most likely the PCB change is improvements or cost savings.
I currently have the two HD6850 running crossfire in a FX8350 rig and no problems.

Any Idea why they added 2 six pin power sockets to the grey fan version and do I need to use them both .
