My NVidia SLI ready edition ram is acting weird. I have 2x2gb sticks and my computer only has 2 ram slots, after some research I found my computer only is compatible with 4gb of ram. So I thought this was my solution. I found that 1 of my 2 sticks of ram was only registering as 1gb at startup, I found this to be odd. But I figured this should due at 3gb of ram, I found my computer in the trash(seriously...). Then all of the sudden when im doing many tasks, my monitor goes blank with the no signal sign. Then my PC gives a beep code LOUDLY for a bit then powers off. I find this problem more common while downloading, or gaming. So I diagnosed the bad ram stick and put the good one in with my old 512mb stick, I really want 4gb cause now lots of my games are unplayable. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Okay... Download the program and extract it. Burn it to the CD and restart. Go into the BIOS and set the CD-ROM drive to boot first. Save changes and reboot. The CD should boot first. There you can run MemTest86. Let it run for about 4 hours and post me if anything crops up.
