Firstly these are my system specs:
GPU: GeForce GTX 770
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.20GHz
8GB RAM
PSU:900 watts

I just bought the gtx 770 and when i went to play battlefield 4 i was expecting high fps of about 100. However when i started playing it was absolutely terrible and under 30 fps-worse that my old graphics card. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Thanks.

Drivers for the old card properly removed? Using the newest Drivers from Nvidia?

There are three possibilities : 1. CPU bottleneck (not likely) 2. Low quality PSU. 3. You may need a MB BIOS update or GPU BIOS update.

Another thing could be settings/driver problem of GPU(NVidia control panel settings).

Even if there is CPU bottleneck (which I know there is at std clocks) it should not be running slower than a less powerful card.

First try to update MB BIOS, if the issue persists then try to update GPU BIOS. You will find help and download file on the vendors site.
