XMP 1.3 profile 1 VS 2

There is not a correct answer for this. One is faster and higher voltage. The other is slower lower voltage... Most people want to run there ram at the highest speed supported that is why you purchased whatever speed you got.... try fastest then test make sure everything works right. If it does leave it there.

Profile 1 is to specs as sold, Profile 2 is more enthusiast oriented for slightly better performance, can have problems with Profile 2 as BIOSs often aren't ready for it, most mobo makers go towards JEDEC standard timings for implementing XMP as the first priority
