Do i need to update my bios?

Hello,
I have just bought components for a new build but I am wondering if i need to update my bios or not.

I am using the Amd fx-6300 (am3+) and a Gigabyte motherboard with am3+ support,
on this motherboard's page on the gigabyte website :

it tells me i need to update to the most current Bios for Am3+ support, However,
on the downloads section there is only one Bios release.

would i need to update to this version or will it already have this version installed (meaning i don't need to update anything) ?

Go into the bios and verify the version installed. Most likely you have to press Delete when your system starts to show an image. It will not hurt to ttap delete slowly right after you turn the system on. Then you can compare the versions.

I don't have the components yet, but is it likely that because there is only one version of the bios available that it is already pre-installed on the motherboard?
