PC crashing when playing BF4

my friends computer crashes when he plays bf4. he has a i7 3820 processor, 660ti, TX850w psu Corsair, one raid card, 10HDD's, I don't know what brand of HDD's but I believe they are 1tb each. Also he has 2 Samsung SSd's. His mobo is a GIGABYTE but I forgot what type. do you think he is overloading his PSU to make his computer crash? Also, a weird screeching noise comes from his PC when it crashes.

Have him unplug everything not needed to turn on and run the computer. Then load a few games and see how it goes. If it runs fine you then add a hard drive and test, then another... There are also power supply calculators to see if he is under powered.

BF4 also has issues; it is well known. Make sure he has the latest divers for his gpu.
