I have the HP Envy m6 1178sa with the AMD Radeon 7670m GPU. The laptop display is 1366 x 768 and I get decent frame rates with that but I want to get an external 1080p monitor to connect via HDMI, will there be a significant drop in FPS?
I am personally having a hard time running games like assassins creed 4 on low-med settings with 2 gb hd 7670m.
Crysis 3 ran well on low-med settings on 1336x768 res. It depends on games optimisation. but still, maybe playing current games on 1080p monitor with hd 7670m isn't a good Idea.
I have been playing games such as just cause 2 with high textures and everything else in low in 1080p and around 40fps. Fc3 blood dragon its the same, textures on high, the rest low and 40fps.
For some reason fc3 runs really bad even in low, any ideas of what it could be??
Also I think many features are overrated in graphic settings, i took some pics and the difference its not what one would think. Stuff like texture and object quality matter the most imo.
