Mic input plays through audio output

So I have the Steelseries Siberia V2 Heat Orange which is an USB headset but when I have the mic on, anything that it picks up is played through the audio output. So how can I stop this?

Wow, I'm kind of dumbfounded here. In looking for solutions, I came across many threads asking how to broadcast with their headset but none that specifically addressed how not to broadcast with a headset (how weird is that?)
I'm going to hope someone else may have some insight as to what is going on here since, as far as I can tell, all of your settings are correct and you should not be broadcasting through your speakers

Lol, I just attempted to download your manual from the SteelSeries website, although the download said it was for the "manual", I got the drivers and all instead (unless the manual is buried in there somewhere). I don't think I want to attempt to install drivers for hardware I don't have just to try to find a hidden manual. I will keep looking into possible solutions here but as I said, I'm kind of dumbfounded at the moment
