I have a Radeon HD 7800 series, windows 64 bit and im finding it impossible to connect a second monitor, to my computer.

My primary monitor, is connected to my graphics card; DVI - VGA, now when I try this on the secondary monitor, all I get is a black screen and 'Check Signal Cable' message, if I try connecting the secondary monitor via VGA - VGA or HDMI -HDMI I get 'No Signal'
I have tried restarting and checking the settings but its just not working.

The whole time I cant detect any second monitor no matter what set up I use or find any settings or driver down loads, or any solutions that may help me solve this issue. Does any1 have any valuable input?

Hmmm, just a thought because I see this occasionally: when hooking up the secondary monitor make sure to switch the input on the monitor itself to whichever you are using. So if you connect the monitor using HDMI - HDMI, make sure the monitor itself is set to display HDMI. Your card definitely supports two monitors connected. Have you tried each monitor by itself? Do they both work individually?

do your monitors have a dvi or hdmi port? you can't connect them both on vga with the recent cards, they can only drive one vga monitor (unless you're using active dvi to vga or hdmi to vga adapters)

i would connect them both on dvi or hdmi for best results.

The primary monitor has been working great since I got it, and the secondary is my tv that is mounted above the computer that works fine too but when I try it as a pc monitor on both sources it says no signal and check signal cable

The G card has two Dvis, along with the Mboard having a HDMI and VGA slot, I am using 2 dvi converter to VGA in the G card for my 2 monitors, both monitors can take a DVi but I don't have the right male adapter for the monitors, only the female into the computer, the primary screen is the only one that can get any signal from the computer

the 2nd monitor cant be detected no matter what I plug into it, regardless of if the primary is operating or not, I can only detect my primary monitor, I downloaded the driver when I first got the computer from the AMD site but I don't know if I need any others it says its up to date, VGA HDMI and the current dvi to vgma don't work for the 2nd monitor I get 2 different signal messages, as I posted in the start

ok, i get it now. you need that dvi to dvi cable, even 2 would be best and connect them to the dvi ports on the graphics cards. or try to plug one on the motherboard vga port and that might work too... what's the motherboard version?

edit: most monitors should have a vga cable and a dvi cable on the original cases.

The DVi port in the tv cant accept the DVI adapter that I plug into the Gcard port, The primarty monitor works great DVi - VGA, I assumed to use another monitor I could just set up identically to the first one and it would detect and work via settings and set up but none of the computer ports work either for set up, I don't think that gettings DVI - DVI will help much, but It will take me a while to try this set up as I will have to order in 2 more converters

This is almost identical to my current problem.
I have primary mon connected with dvi, and the second one connected with hdmi.
Unfortunately I have no idea what it's connected to...you said it's connected to your graphics card, I wouldn't know...it's just an hdmi port in the back of my pc.
I have win 7 64 bit, amd radeon HD7800 series, and no idea why..when I right click on desktop and go through the screen resolution thing, that it does not detect mys econd screen. Benq logo comes up when monitor is on, then disappears and all I get is the No Signal Detected sign.
I would try to check if my hdmi port is enabled ?? but I haven't any idea how.
