Automatic File Copy to External Drive

So I've got a desktop with a big collection of movies and TV shows, both on their own respective drives. I have a 4TB external HDD that I keep plugged in almost all of the time and I like to take it when I travel so I have all of my media at the same time in one place.

Problem is that a lot of my stuff is automated, particularly my TV. Whenever I leave I always have to remember to copy all of the new things or I'm on the road and then I don't have whatever new shows/movies/music I have at home. I'd like to find a program where I could name a watched folder and copy any new changes to a target folder on my external drive.

I've got crashplan and tried it like that but it only gives you an archive or whatever instead of actually copying the files. I've looked around but haven't been able to find anything that was what I was looking for. I don't want them moved, just copied. I don't want an image, just straight duplication. Is there any program out there that can do this for me? I'd prefer something that's not command line, just for simplicity/laziness.

Thanks in advance

TL;DR: looking for automatic file duplication from multiple drives to external one, no image/archive, just want auto copying, prefer no CLI

After a quick glance that looks like it might be something that would work, but do you know anything that doesn't involve the command line? It'd be nice to have something that I could just pull up and adjust really quick if I ever wanted to change anything.

I appreciate the idea though, I'll definitely take a more thorough look when college football isn't on anymore.
