So my set-up is as follows:

Mobo: Foxconn A74GA
RAM: 4 GB
Video card: Radeon HD 6750
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition w/ Cooler Master heatsink
PSU: Corsair CX 430

I wanted to know if I could upgrade my video card from the 6750 to the GTX 660 with my current PSU? And if I did have to upgrade my PSU, what would you recommend the wattage be?

make sure you have the cx430 that is the most current model with 32 amps on the 12volt rail(to check look on the power supply sticker). You should be fine then, i used to run this with a 660 and it worked great.

I don't have the cpu overclocked at all. Is there any danger to the PSU burning out other than just solely the failure of the PSU? If I gotta get a new PSU anyhow, might as well keep on with this one.

Yup that's the one I have. It'd depend also on what CPU you were running too, I'd think.
