I'm about to purchase a new T440p and wanted to upgrade the RAM immediately to 16GB.
I found the below site which tells me I have 2 DIMM slots and the laptop can either take DDR3 PC3-12800 or DDR3 PC3-14900 type RAM. Which one is better? Can anyone confirm if this info is correct? I couldn't find much info on Lenovo's websites or through googling.

Sorry if I sound like an idiot, I've never upgraded RAM myself before, so just want some direction as to the best brand and what type of RAM + do I buy 1 or 2 sticks?
The base model comes with 4GB (I'm assuming 1 stick) but if I were to upgrade to 8GB through Lenovo, would they give me 2 4GB sticks or 1 8GB stick?
