Will my laptop play sim city5?

I have Asus N53sv laptop, (64bit) i7-2630QM 2ghz 2ghz 4gb ram (likely shared) and a Nvidia GT540M ...I want to play the new sim city...can it be done?

thanks for the info....you are right, I am snowed in and cannot find my version of SC4, and I wanted to experience the new one...but I have a slower than average connection, and have never been comfortable with the requirement for online only.
