I have another thread on about my 1 of my two ssd hard drives crashing that were in raid 0 earlier today. I thought i would create a new thread on how i should go about either 1) making a image and coping it over, or 2) reinstalling windows from scratch but on a new hard drive. I bought my copy of windows 8 when it first came out from Microsoft website for like $69. It was a digital download (i made a cd iso and burned it) and still have the key. When i put the new hard drive in my computer can i just use this iso and key or do i need to buy a new copy of windows 8 pro?

Also along with that is there any advantage to buying a 120GB SSD to just put the OS on and then buy this one http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=8466638&srkey=UAM-101752103 for storage and files? I play BF4 and a few other games and like to have low lag so anything i can do to get this i would like to do as i have to upgrade my system.

Well with my Raid over the weekend i had 2 disk read failures which took me awhile to even boot into windows. I am afraid that here soon i wont even be able to boot in and will be down for a few days. My wife uses this computer as well for her masters so I want to make sure I have a backup plan incase it does go down.
