Hi all!

So I am currently running 2xGTX Titan OC in SLI. I have always had 2 displays hooked up to the primary card - one for my main, gaming, etc. and the other to my HDTV in my living room via HDMI. Primary 27" display running at 2560x1440 and the TV obviously running at 1920x1080. Extended displays of course.

My third monitor is a 120hz 1920x1080 I had lying around. I wish to use this monitor for webpages, temp monitoring, etc while I am gaming. When I hook this monitor into the other DVI connector on my primary Titan, my computer only detects the two monitors on the DVI connectors.

My question: Is there a way to have it recognize all three displays?

Also thought I should mention, when I only had my primary display and my TV hooked up, it always treated the TV as "on" (I could swipe my mouse cursor and lose it on the TV) even when it was turned off. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance! Cheers!

Yes, that behavior is normal; you have to unplug the cable between the TV and the computer before the computer fails to recognize it as "there". This is so you can turn off your displays without it screwing up your desktop configuration, windows, etc.

As far as monitor support goes, your Titans should be able to handle 4 monitors apiece, but this may cause issues in SLi. First I would attempt to update the drivers, then go into the driver settings to see what is preventing the third monitor from turning on. This may be a simple case of having to turn it on in the settings. If you can't get any of that to work, since you don't plan on gaming on this extra monitor, assuming you have a CPU with integrated GPU (e.g. any core i series intel...

Thanks for the input, Omegaclawe! I have all the latest drivers and couldn't figure out anything in the nvidia control panel. I'm still surfing the net for more info to no avail. I do have an i7 chip but have the GPU disabled. I would like to avoid this alternative if I can... It shouldn't have to come to this while I am running two Titans. Especially when there is now literally 6 connection port options between them. :)
