To start off, i apologize if this is under the wrong section of the forum but i didn't know where else to put it, ha! Anyways, i'm running a core i5 4670k matched with a sabertooth z87 motherboard and my system is stable under aida 64 at about 4.0ghz (depressing i know), anyways i was looking through some of my system information and noticed that my motherboard is running bios version 1504, i immediately went to the asus sabertooth z87 downloads on asus's website and found out that the latest bios is two ahead of what mine is (1707), the reason for the update, as noted in the description of the download was improved stability...I don't know if that means stability for cpu or what! But i was wondering if i should or shouldn't upgrade my bios to this version, and if so how do i go about doing this (keep in mind that the sabertooth has USB bios flash back).
Thanks in advance!

If the system runs OK, I wouldn't flash the BIOS.
With ASUS every new version "improves stability". Sometimes they actually didn't improve it at all. At contrary.
To answer the question, for flashing the BIOS, set the BIOS to default (clearing the CMOS recommended) and use the EZ Flash in BIOS.
