I am working on a computer for someone at work, and they wanted more processor power. I ordered a new one from Ebay and just installed it today. Now the computer will power up, with all of the LEDs and fans, but will not boot on the screen. It's just black. I went from an AMD X2 4800+ to AMD Phenom X4 Quad-core 9350e 2GHz. The motherboard is an A13G V3.0, AM2+ compatible. Both chips are AM2+. Is it possible the board doesn't support the X4 Quad Core chip still? Thanks in advance for the help

Well crap! I thought if it supported AM2 it would take any AM2 chip. Live and learn. At least it was only a $50 mistake, I can always sell the chip or use it elsewhere. Thanks a bunch guys
