Hi,
I have just built a new system, well relatively new anyway in that it’s a new Mobo and CPU. Everything else has worked perfectly well in previous build and is 100% compatible with this current build:
Intel i7 4770K 3.5GHz processor
Gigabyte Z87x-UD5H Motherboard
ASUS GTX560Ti Graphics 1GB
16GB of DDR3 RAM
2 Samsung EVO SSDs
2 Seagate 2TB Hdds in a RAID 1
1 WD HDD
3 DVD RWs
3 System fans (1 of which doesn’t work just pulsates, but worked and does work perfectly well in another system)
1 TV Tune PCI card
Problem: Every now and then it restarts or blue screens. Under Windows 8 I got the Kernel –Power error and Windows 7 just reports it as a blue screen error.
Question: Do you think I am in low in power given that all old components worked in previous system? Or is it faulty new MOBO / CPU? What power rating of PSU do you think my system should be using?
Thanks Guys!
Ken, UK.
