Budget Build for RTS MMO/ Small gaming build

Does anyone have a build that can handle MMO and RTS games elder scrolls when it comes out.

I can pick the monitor, OS, keyboard, mouse & speakers.

Budget for the tower is £500

Also is it possible to have a small case without it costing a lot more and compromising performance?

Also if anyone has a £800 build in a small case that can play all games again without monitor and os?

Just to clarify, you want a build for 800, and you already have monitor and OS? Or do you have a 500 budget?

Hi, I was interested in 2 builds one for £500 and one for £800 both without os and monitor, as I think I'm going with windows 7 and picked a display already http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-monitor-s24c570hl but if you have any suggestions on monitors I would love to hear. Thanks

So both budgets are for tower without os.

Monitor is completely preference, looks fine to me.

Let me know what you think, the 800 obviously is better lol you also get an SSD with that budget, and the beastly 280x

Thanks for the builds very nice and right on budget, I think in the long run I am better off with the £800 but I was going to buy the
MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card for £190 the 280x is £230 is it worth the £40 more in terms of the extra performance it gives? sorry I know nothing about graphics cards starting to learn tho.

If you are looking long term and can make the extra 40 pounds work, definitely. It has a larger memory bus (meaning it can move more data at once) and more memory, which will both greatly benefit it in the future as well as now.

I myself have the 760 HAWK from MSI and love it. I can max out just about everything and get good framerates, you won't go wrong either way.

And sorry about having to write pounds, I'm on a USA keyboard and don't have the pound symbol lol

I think I will go for the 280x then comes back in stock in a couple days. lol no problem with the £ I live in Trinidad for half the year and I'm always having to write pound. One other thing is it worth a little more to get 1866 ram instead of 1600 or is there not much difference?

You won't see the difference in RAM speeds. but that sounds like a plan! Enjoy the build, but be careful, it'll just make you want to do it more lol

Honestly there isn't much of a difference, stay with the 1600 especially since you have a very strict budget!
