So I'm building a computer and I saw that Toshiba has a 2TB 64Mb cache 7200RPM drive for only 80 bucks. That's like 4 cents/gb. So seing that, I really want to take advantage of this and was wondering if the following configuration was possible:
1 SSD
1 HDD
2 HDD in a raid 0 config

I don't know alot about raid configurations, but I figured that other people would know the answer. Thanks :D

As long as you have the number of SATA ports to use, your plan will work fine. My experience is that raid 0 is kinda pointless unless you have a server or really reallly really need the extra sequential throughput. It doesn't help like you think it would, its not 2x faster.

You didn't mean putting all 4 of those drives in 1 raid 0, right? the title is a little confusing.
