Is there a way to record gameplay with another computer, while I'm gaming on my main one?

Hey guys, so.... I don't know if there is such a thing, or maybe there is, is there a way I can record gameplay from my main gaming pc, and have another computer record it?

So for a example. I'll have a editing/recording computer, and i'll be playing on my main gaming pc. The recording computer records everything I do from my gaming pc. Like if I play battlefield 4, and the other recording computer records everything I do.

If there really is such a way, how could I do it? I say this because I want to play my games, and edit right beside so I can still play, and when I'm waiting for the match to start, I can spend 5 mins rendering and editing. I want to also put the stress off my gaming pc so I can still play fine, and have no FPS lag or drops because i'm rendering or editing.

split the video output on your main pc, and have a 2nd one using a video capture card.

Do you know maybe how this looks like? And what capture card would I need? I have seen some, but never seen them in action.
