best graphics card for intel q6600 due 2 quad 2.4

I have Q6600 intel due 2 quad 2.4 and msi mother platinum 975x power up edition i want to replace my cpu if its worth it to get a used one better or over clock it to be able to handle a better graphics card and what's the best graphics card I can have,i prefers NVIDIA

I have about 500 watt power supply and 4 GB of ram at 633 can replace it by 8 GB at speed of 800 if its worth it

my current graphics card is GTS 8800

You most definitely will, though I'd say get the best card in your budget and save up for a new system and then use that card with your eventual system down the line

If that's DDR2 RAM then don't bother upgrading it since it's expensive, save that up for a future CPU/mobo/RAM overhaul

won't I suffer from bottle nick with gtx 659 TI?
and how much the difference in term of power between gtx 650 TI and gtx 660 TI?
