I am hoping this is an active forum I need some help.

I have Wireless Connectivity and I am able to browse on my computer for about 20-30min. After that; the connectivity goes off. I am no longer able to use anything that deals with connection on my computer. BUT and a huge BUT, EVERYTHING ELSE THAT I USE IE: PHONE,IPAD,PS3 all still work ( I have no problems with them going off of the internet)
When I restart its comes back to normal and I have access again but only for the 20-30min, then off again.

Things to know..
The router still is lit with internet on.
On the computer it still thinks its connect but won't allow internet access.
This started happening after I had my screen repaired at bestbuy and got it back...

Things I have tried...
Unchecking proxy (was already unchecked anyhow)
Typeing some nonsense in the cmd prompt.
Removing and Reinstalling Webroot
Done all the obvious firewall checks
Unpluggin and waiting and restarting modem and router

I have been dealing with this problem for awhile now and just never had luck looking for solutions.

PC specs:
Windows 8 HE
Webroot Antivirus
Post if you need more info.

Please Help,
Corey

try uninstalling all the antivirus and install microsoft security essentials...
also, make sure that you have the latest driver for your wifi adapter.
do you mean ONLY the wifi on the COMPUTER dies after 20-30 mins?
double check for the driver, and try manually inputting IP and dns on the wifi adapter properties.
also on your wifi adapter properties, uncheck IPv6 and make sure onyl IPv4 is checked.
---
maybe bestbuy techs screwed around with the wifi adapter wirings...
try buying a wifi adapater and use that to see if the problem persists...if it does, something is wrong on the wifi side on your router...if it does not, you can determine that your built-in wifi adapter is causing the issue.

Hi Nuix0923

Thanks for your response.
I have done the update driver and that didn't do anything. I will be working on your other solutions when I get home from work.

To get your connection issue resolved, let's start first with checking your network connection is working, may be its a common & basic thing to check first. So go to http://www.netscan.co and press the big button there... Netscan will perform a series of network tests and give you a url that you can share back with us so we can help you faster.
