Hey all, I'm looking to get an 8GB upgrade for my Sager NP8670. Current specs are i7 640M, ATi Mobility Radeon 5870, 4GBs DDR3 Memory.

I bought a pair of Kingston HyperX Genesis 8GBs, and it didn't seem to work. Would get to the "Starting Windows" then restart. But it runs just fine on my Sager NP5170 (Yes, I have two Sagers :p ). I also tried my friend's HyperX Plug N Play and it did the exact same thing, so I'm having problems finding compatible RAM.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you! :D

Solution
I only found two manufacturers that have 4GB modules they guarantee compatibility with that motherboard.
Kingston says this will work KVR1333D3S9/4G http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search/Default.aspx?DeviceType=3&Mfr=CLV&Line=Notebook&Model=59854&Description=Kingston_ValueRam_Memory_for_Clevo_Notebook_W870CU
I hope this link works, AData shows quite a few modules compatible here http://www.adata-group.com/index.php?action=ss_main&page=ss_content_dms&lan=us#result

Crucial only lists 2GB modules for compatibility so that's not an upgrade

Corsair and Patriot come up blank (neither even lists your motherboard model)

G.Skill's web site appears to be down right now.
Hope it helps some

It's 64 bit. It's a W870CU, as well.

Which of the two would you prefer?
I have HyperX in my 5170, and it runs great, so I might stand with Kingston, but I've never heard anything bad about ADATA.
