looking to build a first timers gaming computer high end products. I always played games using AMD like I still have the AMD FX-8350 Black edition. Knowing of Elder scrolls online, Destiny, DayZ, etc I am looking for a better gaming PC that won't burn out on me if I am playing as if I am still on my ps3 or PS4 console. Now AMD is nice for what it does and what i need it to do. On the PC I like downloading videos, watch tv online, surf, and well game. Gaming more than TV. Is Intel really better than AMD? My buddy did a comparison to the nvidia high end graphics to ASUS crossfire motherboard with high end Amd and seen no difference online playing Ghost. Now I prefer a gaming system that has HDMI Port and gaming with details graphics and smooth like play due to bad eye and a PC that can get me less lag or glitch as PC gamers say and too stream without waiting forever cause I have a game playing in the background. I am looking more and more into this new pc world and like it much better than my consoles. I love my sony for life but hey lets be honest this ps4 is not cracked up to as they said it would be like lol. I do not see why my budget has too be between options but I rather spend up too 1k. I do not know much about pc but as far as just gaming with nice graphics no lag or shutdown on my system thats all i an ask for thank in advance for all you guys help.

Yes sorry trying to rush it all out there at once. Single father of 4 here kinda hard to find the time hahaha. So sorry for all my misspellings and mess ups of I confused anyone please forgive me.

if you already have an 8350 and motherboard then stick with that and pair it with a nice graphics card like a gtx780 or r9 290. If you find it still not to be fast enough then look at upgrading the cpu and motherboard to an intel i5 or i7, they are better for some games that wont use many cpu cores, other games that can use 8 cores, no different to your 8350

I only have the processor. I won it dirt cheap while trying to find me a great pc to build. I have thoughts on what to buy but I am no pro, vet, or average joe when it comes to computers.

Your current CPU is fine, use that and with $1000 you can get a very nice gaming computer.
