I just installed the waterblock onto my gtx 780 ti oc edition. After I used the thermal onto GPU, I put the thermal onto VRM components and others places that need to be covered by thermal pad, either. I dont know if it works or not? Does anybody know?

Solution
What I mean is it will work perfectly fine without any, that is what the thermal pads are for. But if you want to, you can put a tiny bit of paste on the VRMs in addition to the heat pads of course) and in theory it will improve the heat transfer. I have never noticed any difference myself.

Thanks. I just want to make sure I didnt done any damage on my vrm components of graphic card by using thermal pads after using thermal paste. Because I used the thermal paste on every vrm components even the most tiny one before I set up the thermal pads.
