OK so pretty much i just build a gaming rig first time and it shuts down on me only when playing graphical intensive games like bf4 or DayZ standalone and it is annoying as i am a noob a pc building and would like the help to find out my problem

Pc Specs
AMD Fx 9370 with stock water cooler
Asus 990fx sabertooth
G.Skill Sniper series DDR5 16gb (8gbx2)
MSI geforce 770 4gb
Corsair ax 850i watt

all my temps don't seem to show that hot when playing or abnormally high but as i said i don't really know much about and would like the help cause im not sure which parts i should possibly RMA

when you say "shuts down" you're going to have to be far more specific.

does the computer black screen restart? (all go black then restart)
does it blue screen restart?
does the computer just "turn off"?
does it lock up?
does everything go black but then instead of restart it just sit there fans spinning doing nothing... till you hard turn it off?

give us a little more to work with here... and we might be able to help you out.

ok well it it just all of a sudden shuts off no warning than to turn it back on i have to turn off the back fiirst than turn back on

... so you have to turn off the power first before it will turn back on?

i can think of a few things it might be. Mostly something overheating. likely the power-supply or motherboard. Best way to figure out what's going on would be to pop the side of the case off... and stick a fan over the vrm/northbridge heatsinks on the motherboard. lets make sure nothing there is overheating first.

lets see how that works first.

Yes, please provide more information, because you could have a serious problem on your hands!..

It would be nice to know when you say shutting down....Like ingtar33 said.
Download everest Home Edition or similar software and show us the temps.....

I was expecting an old computer with a temp problem when I was the heading but that setup should not have that problem.

Did you put the pc together yourself or did you just pick the parts and paid somebody to build it?

I've known quite a few people who had their CPU overheat and shut down as a precaution because they didn't have the CPU cooler connected the right way.

That would usually have your PC shut down and then attempt to start up again......Maybe even sometimes shutting down again immediately after shutting down.

But it certainty sounds like a overheating issue.....One of your cooling solutions is properly not connected properly

damn....Im the worst helper ever. I just referred you to a program that has been continued. Damn, Im old!

Try this instead

http://openhardwaremonitor.org/

We just need a software to monitor your temps......Do you already have that?

I don't know for sure or anything but I've had quite a few issues where people didn't connect the cooler the correct way, but I have zero experience with the stock water cooler or how you install them.

I will completely steal Quadacons answer from another thread since it fits here too

"There is most likely something overheating, go into the bios then go to health settings or advance settings (cant remember what one exactly) then chose to turn on overheat warnings/fan fail warnings, if you cant do that then keep the case open while you play and try to fgure out whats going on, example: hear for any beeps or strange noises, and make sure all the fans are running ect. Oh btw in the bios there should be a system temp, make sure its not to high. "

the stock water cooler is a rebadged Asetek 570LC with two fans in push/pull; which is amusingly what corsair did with it too, as the h70 is the asetek 570LC with two fans in push pull... so for simplicity sake you could call it a corsair h70 or an asetek 570LC... i think it's rebadged as one of the Kraken water coolers too... not sure though.

You are damn right its weird........Nothing there looks too serious.

Sorry, but I have no idea. I would properly bite the sour apple as you would say in my country and take the beast to a computer store and have them check the components.
