I just received this motherboard today and I've got a few problems. First im doing an external build to make sure everything works. What I have currently plugged into the motherboard is 8gb ripjaws 1600 MHz ram, i5 4670k @ 3.4 ghz, NVidia gtx 550ti, Sata hdd (not sure of actual model), and the dvd rom drive. my psu is 650w. now my problem is, it will not boot into windows, and after getting to the "starting windows" screen for a couple seconds, it flashes the blue screen, then restarts. I've tried running repair, I've tried reseating ram, and I've tried clearing the cmos, what else can I do to try and fix it?

:D glad you found a solution!

i had to do something similar when i swapped my asus mb for another (newer) asus motherboard. the driver holding me up with the southbridge/raid driver... had to play with it a bit to get the right driver installed and get it working.
your problem is you changed your motherboard. windows doesn't like that, has the wrong drivers installed and is crashing as a result. Load into windows recovery, and see if windows will fix itself. if it does not, you'll need to re-install windows.

WARNING, if you have an OEM version of windows it's highly possible, even if you get windows working properly it will tell you your licence is expired and you need to buy a new one. OEM copies of windows only work on one motherboard and one install.

Well the funny thing about that is,this version of windows has a volume license, but the people who built my pc before (im building it myself now) forgot to put the key in. I was too lazy to get it from them, so eventually my windows expired. I have no disc or way to reinstall windows...

Thanks anyway, I'm still gonna try some other things but reinstalling windows is my absolute last option.
