  1. What is the exact model of your board? You are probably limited to Sandy Bridge chips but with the latest BIOS some H61 boards are compatible with Ivy Bridge as well.
  2. It appears the H61 Chipset is Socket 1155 and supports the 2nd Gen Core I7/I5 processors. Look up your motherboard on it's manufacturer's web site to see a list of supported processors (CPU Support List) and possible BIOS updates for your specific motherboard. If you need more details, we're going to need an exact motherboard model number as well as a budget for possible upgrades.

Don't bump please. It's against forum rules.

You have a Lenovo. You need to contact them to see if the board is upgradeable. OEMs like Lenovo and Dell buy in bulk and have very limited support with things like BIOS. So I very much doubt your board supports even the full range of Sandy Bridge CPUs much less any Ivy Bridge chips. The only way to know for sure is to find your exact model on the Lenovo site or contact them and ask. You are most likely going to have to buy a new motherboard, RAM and CPU at the least if you want a real upgrade.
