Far Cry 3 graphics hair glitch

Just got a R9 270 today and have been playing far cry 3. Every little bit I see glitches in peoples beards and hair, white/light blue blocks. its rare but what could it be? is it the card, the drivers, the game? I have already sent back two radeon cards in the past month, is this another?

Install the newest drivers (you don't need the beta, I played all of FC3 with the latest stable ones) and lower your settings. FC3 is a very demanding game for GPUs and the R9-270X / HD 7870 will be very taxed if you have all settings set to max and AA turned all the way up. Try using high settings with 4x FXAA and see what happens.

But everything I have seen has been seeing says I should be able to max it out, without AA. I was basically maxing it out with a 7770, and it looks like this r9 270 isnt running too much better than it. I should be getting twice the performance than a 7770, but im not getting that
