Hey. I have a GTX 670 2GB with an i7 and 32GB ram.

I don't necessarily need another card now, I mostly play CSGO and not a huge gamer anymore, I always thought I'd just SLI eventually, but now that I realize the 6 series is about to fade out and almost no GTX 670s are even made anymore, I basically need to SLI now or never.

I would think SLIing now for $260 (I can get a good eVGA card for this price) would be much more value-performance orientated than waiting and spending $550-600 on a GTX 870 or whatever when it comes out.

I am not an expert in this at all, please let me know the pros and cons. For someone who doesn't play too many high end games, at least not often, I would think SLIing would be the obvious choice if the 2nd card can be found for cheap enough $260.

meh. a 2nd 670 might give you a pop in performance... but really... if you're on a 1080p monitor with 60hz refresh rate, you've pretty much got all the gpu you'll need for a while already.

The 800 series might take some time to settle down if it does start on a new node so it might even have teething issues until a refresh i.e 9xx series so being an SLi advocate I would go with the 670's in SLi then sit back and wait and watch.
