Tech experts of Tom's Hardware, I need your help!

I'm looking at building my first gaming PC, and need some advice. I'm aiming to play most new games (e.g. Battlefield 4, DayZ standalone) at reasonably high settings with a nice smooth framerate. My budget is circa $2000, including monitor, keyboard and mouse. Please note I'm from Australia, so all prices are in AUD, and all suppliers have to ship here!

Anyway, I've come up with a rough build, and I need to know if I'm heading in the right direction. I'm sure I could find individual parts cheaper from various stores, but here I've used PC Case Gear at least as a starting point.

Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D ($139 from PC Case Gear).
CPU: Core i5-4670k 3.4GHz ($269 from PC Case Gear).
CPU cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo ($45 from PC Case Gear).
Motherboard: ASRock Z87M Extreme 4 Micro ATX LGA1150 ($159 from PC Case Gear).
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($109 from PC Case Gear).
OS: Windows 8.1 64-bit ($115 from PC Case Gear).
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM 64MB SATA III ($99 from PC Case Gear).
Video card: EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked with ACX Cooling ($689 from PC Case Gear).
Power Supply: Corsair GS700 V2 700W PSU ($125 from PC Case Gear).
Sound Card: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy Value 7.1 ($39 from PC Case Gear).
Monitor: BenQ GL2460HM 24in Widescreen LED Monitor ($179 from PC Case Gear).
Keyboard: Corsair Raptor K50 Mechanical Keyboard ($129 from PC Case Gear).
Mouse: Corsair Vengeance M65 Laser Mouse ($75 from PC Case Gear).

Total: $2164.

I'd like to avoid water cooling if possible. The 350D comes standard with one 140mm intake fan, and one 120mm exhaust fan. Would I need to purchase extra cooling fans to account for the overclocked 780 et al?

Thanks for your help!

You don't need a sound card. Adding a couple case fans would be good. Other than that it looks good

Great, thank you. Would two Noctua 120mm's do?

Looks great! I do love me that 350D

The only thing i'd really change would be to grab 16GB of RAM rather than 8, you don't need it but i'm just used to using a lot of RAM and to drop the soundcard as lucasz said, just to cut a little cash off.

Excellent, thanks guys. Much appreciated.

In terms of the extra RAM and my budget, would I be better served dropping the GFX card a little lower (like a non-OC 780 or something), and purchasing the extra RAM instead, or leave it as is? Going to 16GB would be an extra ~$90.

To be fair, in the grand scheme of things, that's really not that much. So I could probably stretch to affording both if it would be noticeably better.

16GB of ram is useless for gaming. You will get 0% performance increase by getting 16GB ram

Ah, fair enough. I have a laptop for all my other tasks, so this would purely be for gaming. If that's the case $90 saved is $90 saved then.

You really don't need 16, 8 is fine, I'd say leave as is, and you'll be golden
