Computer Crashing Need Help

so about every 10-15 I'm on the computer it'll either say "Windows must restart because the DCOM Server Process Launcher service terminated unexpectedly." Or "Windows must restart because the Plug and Play service terminated unexpectedly." What does that mean?

In a nutshell, you either have a virus which you should be able to get rid of, or your operating system (Windows) has somehow gotten corrupted and you'll need to essentially wipe your hard drive clean through a process call reformatting and reinstall Windows.

If you google those phrases you typed you'll see a lot of good info about determining whether you have a virus. In fact, there seems to be a decent number of forums where people are knowledgeable enough about this stuff and they can walk you through it (I don't think I've seen this on Tom's Hardware).

This looks like a simple guide to try yourself to get rid of a potential virus

And this looks like a forum where someone could actually guide you thoroughly for virus scanning/removal
