processor compatibility with motherboard

i have amd sempron running on gigabyte m68mt-s2p motherboard. Can i fit amdA10 5800K processor on the same motherboard?

nope. that motherboard is a socket AM3. the A10 is a socket FM2.

The best that you can manage on that board is a Phenom II X6 1100T. I'm afraid that AM3 motherboards have gone the way of AM2 and AM2+. You need to get an FM2 motherboard for an A10.
