Hello there. Once I purchased Acer x3400. Since the acquisition I made some upgrades: bought a new case, put a new PSU (Corsair VS450 (450W)), replaced the RAM (Corsair Value Select VS2GB1333D4 (4gb)), put SSD (Intel 330 series 60GB). More recently thought about buying a new graphics card, because the old one (Nvidia GT320) was really slow.
Generally, I bought Sapphire HD 7770 GHz Edition OC. To avoid problems, I reinstalled Windows and installed latest driver from AMD website. Everything would be fine, but now there are BSODs every hour (0x00000116) while playing games (CS:GO, Juct Cause 2). Finally, I tried to install different drivers for graphic card but it didn't resolve my problem. Also, I launched stress test - temperature was quite normal and it didn't crash after a hour of running.
I hope someone can help me. Thanks.

P.S. Crash dumps and report of AIDA64 there
P.P.S. I'm really sorry for my English :)

Solution
I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
AMD/Support/Driver/Packages/Drivers/Display/WB6A_INF
Yes there(example): C:\AMD\Support\13-12_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql\Packages\Drivers\Display\WB6A_INF\B165829
By doing that algoritm you replace the corupted sys file witn new one that .old file wont work, or just expand it like said the others from that form , at mine worked no more BSOD .

Just take care .

Hello !
I have the same PSU and Sapphire Hd 7770 GHz Edition non OC , i had the same problem in Skyrim and Tomb Raider, but other games like GS:GO never happend, I tried to search for a fix , i found that the CCC is making the problem(atikmpag.sys and atikmdag.sys.)- Files from video driver .
I found a site where it says how to fix but you need to know what you do beacuse it is a little risky and maybe wont work or damage more system files.

This solution was on toms: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1690717/bsod-0xa0000001-error.html#.
Just be careful in what you are doing , maybe ask an IT man it is better but cost money .( Better safe then sorry )

Good luck !

I'm sorry, which OS do you use?
I'm using windows 7 x64 and after doing this algorithm I have equivalent (by hashes) atikmdag.sys and atikmdag.sys.old :(
I've installed latest driver with catalyst package 13.4 without installing CCC.
Am I do it right way?
PS I haven't found the folder C:\ATI\. There is C:\AMD\. Is it OK?

gigel gigi, thank you very much! It fixed the problem. I've done it several times on the windows that is not fresh. Just reintalling drivers with CCC and doing this algorithm helped! Really thank you, don't think I would found this solution without you.
After that trouble don't think I'll buy anything by AMD.
Now I should translate this algorithm into my language cause there may be a lot of people who have this problem. Thanks to AMD.

Oops I should have chosen the previous message as a solution. I'm sorry
