GTX 780 low fps on all games

Hello, i bought GTX 780 Yesterday and i reinstalled my windows on my computer and installed all new drivers and all that, i have been on google seaqrching for solutions now for many hours and still nothing ..

I get maybe 20 - 40 FPS on Battlefield 4 on ULTRA..

And on minecraft i get maybe 50 FPS ..

My specs:

Intel I5 2500k 3,4 Ghz
MSI - Motherboard
TS650 - PSU

Dry uninstalling the display drivers and reinstalling the latest official driver.

Take the card back. It's obviously defective. You've tried everything else. If the old card got better fps than this, then it's nothing else in your system.

Did you check your CPU, GPU (and maybe RAM) usage while playing games?

Update your motherboard bios to the latest version and also drivers. Go to the manufacturers website and search for bios updates usually if you havent done it in a few months there is going to be a new one out there. This usually fixes the issues with the newer cards but if it doesnt then also check your temps and usages.

Yeah.. Called the shop i bought it from, they told me to come in with the card and they will have a look, i really hope it is the card that tehre is something wrong to, not my computer ..

Just because its getting low fps does not mean its defective. Honestly to me it sounds like driver problems or bios problems. Hope you get it sorted out quickly though.

Okay, so i lfet the graphic card to the shop i bought it from, and they said they would test it on theirs computers, so i will get results about in back next week, BUT! my CPU temp was on 98, non stop when i was playing, and now i have cleaned the ventilation and such and i have much lower temp but still the shitty FPS on my GTX 570 .. while my friend have 80 FPS on medium i have 35 - 45 FPS ..

test on bf4 or something and see what fps u get?

Yea something wrong on ur computer. I get 50+ on high with my gtx560ti classified.

Maybe you have to update your bios. I have GTX 780 FTW and GA Z77x UD3H. First, I noticed that boot up be extremely long, about 30 secs with SSD. Second, there were bugs. I updated my Bios, and I have no issues.

If u r getting low fps like that even on a 570 then ur 780 should be fine. Did u say you have done a complete format of your hdd and reload everything fresh
