Hi,

Had a small old hdd with windows on it, but after a while i connected a larger one as well to keep excess files. Decided to install windows on the larger one to keep windows from storing things in default locations and such since the two hdd's in tandem wasn't the best idea in terms of organisation.

What i did was (without any forethought unfortunately) backup needed files to an external hdd, boot from windows 7 64-bit disc. Format all hdd's using the installation tool, except for a partition on the old hdd which said it was system reserved. Then i let the installation carry on, and it seemed to install onto the new hdd fine.

After starting up though windows ran really slowly, simply clicking the start menu could sometimes take around 10 seconds. Installed SlimDriver and updated all the drivers, which didn't help at all. Decided to simply take the old hdd out, and run the install with only the new hdd in. Now there's still the same problem and I'm still quite helpless!

Sorry about all the text, figured it would be better to give you all the info.

I didn't get any errors, apart from when i tried to install the java plugin for chrome while the installation for windows live mail was running and it told me i couldn't run two installations at once. Which I'm pretty sure i could before

Edit: OK, it just took a while. I've got 2 errors with the source WMI(error ID 10), as well as a bunch of warnings from ESSENT with the task category Performance.
