I just built my computer a few days ago, been operating very well.

Tried to connect to internet, no luck, began to troubleshoot.

Error 651.

went and bought usb adapter and connected to internet

Using windows 8.1 x64
I7-4770k
2 GTX 780 TI SLI
MSI Z87 GD-65 Gaming

thats really it, im in an apartment community where internet is already provided.

I have installed all necessary drivers except for HID drivers, updating them as I am writing this. thinking of contacting for RMA but honestly if worst comes to worst and the port is dead, i will just buy a network card. (I prefer a hard connection)

I did try 2 different ethernet cables both are the exact same make, length, speed.

Any help before I call the MSI technical support line would be great. Its really hard to be able to be home during their hours due to me being a medical rep. Thanks for the help, any other info I will gladly provide.

Have you installed the latest Killer NIC 2100 drivers? thats your LAN driver? so this error only occurs when you plugin a cable? did it work on another PC? or laptop.

Have you checked the BIOS update log if there is any mention of your problem? have you updated Windows to its max? another thing you can do is unninstall LAN drivers and install the newest in safe mode.
