Will a Nvidia Geforce GTX 550ti fit in my case and motherboard?

Hi, i am looking to upgrade my GPU and i have seen that this has good reviews and is a fairly powerful GPU for its price. I am just wondering if it will fit in my case and motherboard ad since i dont know ow to tell, i am asking you guys :D . So please reply ASAP and i am looking forward for an answer.

Specs:


Motherboard: Gigabyte Ga-M68mt-S2
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 3.4GHz Black Ed.
Case: Cit Mars Midi Case

Yes it fits. There are newer better performing cards on the market in similar price range Like GTX650Ti and HD7790 that will work as well.
The only other question is what size is your PSU?

all i can say at the moment is that it is 500W but i will provide the brand soon when i ca get access to my pc

500watts should suffice if reasonable quality.

Well most of the reviews I have read are not in favour of this PSU.. Maybe you should consider upgrading your PSU as well. There are top brands in the market which can offer excellent liability, performance and efficiency.

Agreed very low end PSU although it will handle the card it may as well die and kill the card with it.

PSU compatibility is not an issue in this case.

That is a state of the art PSU. On the other hand I believe you should save some extra money by going for a 500 or 550W PSU, since a 650W will be an overkill for your rig.
