Hello Tom's Hardware Community!
My hard drive (C) has currently 0 bytes in it and I found the folder which took up the space of about 430gb. It is located in program files x86/ ctrlcenter Technical Support/ Logs folder and I don't know what to do with it. If I delete it will it do any harm in my laptop?
My laptop is Acer Aspire V5-571p and Im using Windows 8.
Thanks in advance!

430 gb? thats a huge log file if it really is one. I would see if that program is listed under add/remove programs (yes thats xp I know) and see iff youc an remove that program that way. if tis not listed delete that file and scan your computer with your virus protection program or something like malware bytes

thanks for replying!
It is listed in the add/ remove program so it is okay to just uninstall it? Sorry I don't know anything about this stuff.
