Hey guys,
I seem to have lost all brightness controls after I upgraded my laptop to windows 8.1. Neither the FN key nor the brightness sliders (control panel) seem to work as my default brightness is perpetually stuck on full. What's weird is that changing the brightness using the FN keys does make the little slider for brightness change however it has no effect on actual brightness. I looked on HP support but they don't seem to offer a driver for this issue. I apologize if this question has already been asked and resolved.
