OK, don't do that.

Depending on the specific type of glue, either:
It melts and kills many other things
or
Superglue, and it will not come off without a lot of work and probably killing some things

(and yes, retired Air Force)

Okay. I'm buying a new PC and thought it might be fun. What'd you do in the air force?

It would be 'fun', if your idea of fun is wasting money buying new parts to replace the destroyed ones.

In the AF? Multiple things, ending with software development.

Don't do that xD
Your CPU will overheat, then the heat will melt the glue, then the glue will kill some of the nearest small components, then you will fry your motherboard and maybe the rest of the computer, then you have no computer left:)
And then you canøt see this message and watch me type 'then' all the time:3
