So I'm building my system in a few days and I will be using an SSD for OS and other stuff. What would you guys suggest out of the 2 in the title. The kingston is around £55 Samsung around £70.
Ill be gaming, net browsing, watching movies, nothing out of the ordinary so will there be any real world differences between the 2? thanks

For net browsing and watching movies there will be no difference between an SSD and an HDD. Gaming, things will load faster with an SSD but your framerates won't change.

My advice on SSDs is almost always that the difference from HDD to SSD is so huge that any SSD will be amazing. Backed up by this: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/sata-6gbps-performance-sata-3gbps,3110-8.html . Unless you are doing specific applications that require massively fast disk throughput, any SSD will make you happy. The system will start faster and feel "snappier" or quicker to respond.

I would recommend having an HDD in there too and using it for storage. Movies take up a lot of space and don't play any better from an SSD than from an HDD.

Hey thanks for the quick reply guys. Some good info. Yeah I will have a 1TB HDD in there too for general storage. I've never used an SSD before so like you say it will be a massive improvement to what I'm used to. I will use the links you guys sent and make my decision.

thanks again
